I have been licensed for 25 yrs,  so I know what people are really saying, reading between the lines.  I have been holding a spot for an existing parent for 8 months.  The child is suppose to start daycare on Monday.  I was just told 7 days ago the child has really bad acid reflux, only sleeps with swaddler (which we cannot use in daycare) sleeps on a wedge in the crib or in the swing.  I cannot use the wedge or the swing to sleep the infant.  I told the parents I couldn't sleep the child the way they want me to.  I suggested if they had a friend or relative who could watch the infant until said child was daycare ready.  They said yes, but they wanted to start the child anyway to see how it goes.  I took care of the older sibling 3 yrs ago, that child had acid reflux too, however, I have been told the new child has it much worse that older sibling did.  I could barely handle the older sibling 3 yrs ago, when I could swaddle.  I see this not working, I suffer from migraines and stress is a big factor with the onset of migraines.  I am not looking forward to this at all.  I just know these parents, waiting this long to inform me of their infant.  I know I will be giving them notice.  Really needed to vent
