Hi, My name is Shari Mason. I am a licensed in-home daycare provider in WA state (East Vancouver / NW Camas in a little community called Fern Prairie). I have been licensed since Oct. of 1979 and I have to say that I love almost every aspect of my job. In March we were given a new set of WACs that govern our business. Many of them have been very hard to comply with, therefore many providers have chosen to close their doors. This has made me very sad. I am wondering if there are other WA state providers on this line and if so, how do you feel about our new rules? I also want to network with other daycare providers for ideas, support and friendship.
